Zaatar Chicken with mixed vegetables

Ingredients:


2 lbs chicken breast thinly sliced

1/4 cup EVOO

6 heaped tablespoons Zaatar

2 tsp Sumac

1 tsp Red pepper flakes

4-6 garlic pods crushed

2-3 garlic pods whole

Salt to taste

Juice of 1 large lemon

1 large onion cut in pieces

2 carrots cut in pieces

2 zucchini’s cut in pieces

1 tsp lemon rind


Method:

Put all the ingredients in a large ziplock bag and remove the air and make sure everything is covered in marinade. Put it in the fridge for at least an hour

Heat your cast iron skillet put some ghee and EVOO. When hot put the chicken in the skillet. When it’s ready transfer it to a serving dish. In the same skillet now add all the veggies and cover it. Stir occasionally. When done later it on your serving dish and add the chicken on top. Take a picture and don’t forget to tag me
