Kuku pakka (Chicken Coconut Curry)


1 can of Coconut milk

1 Lemon

1 large Onion 1 bunch of coriander

2 jalapeños

6 cloves of Garlic

1 tsp Ginger crushed

Salt to taste

2 teaspoons turmeric

10-12 curry leaves

2.5 lbs boneless chicken cut in pieces


Make masala by blending the



Jalapeños (you can reduce it to 1 pepper if you don’t want it too spicy)



Set aside.

Heat oil and add curry leaves. Then add the masala you made. Cook it for a few minutes and then add the turmeric and salt. Cook it for a few minutes till the oil comes to the top. Now add the chicken and cook it for a few minutes then add the coconut milk and cook it for a few minutes till all the flavors are incorporated. Cook on medium heat till Cooked. Take it off the stove and squeeze the juice of 1 lemon on it and stir. Garnish with chopped cilantro. Please take a picture and send it to me so I can see your amazing work. Happy Cooking
